Taqueria El Asadero is a Mexican restaurant created by Efrain & Julia Flores. Mexican immigrants who came to the US in 1985, with their sweat, blood, and tears, they opened Taqueria El Asadero on Sept. 25th, 1993. Taqueria El Asadero is a popular place among the Welles park & Library visitors. Many of their longtime customers practically grew up alongside the Flores children. Asadero has been said to be an original staple to the North Center community, adjacent to Jerry’s Grill.
